The Midland Area Youth Football League (MAYFL) is an instructional focused tackle (grades 3-6) & flag football (grades K-2) program for boys and girls  who reside in the mid-Michigan area.  We offer four divisions (Kindergarten Flag, Flag), Prep and Junior) structured to balance the weight, age, and maturity levels of players.  Additional division details can be found in the Rules section of the website.

Our mission is to teach kids the fundamentals of football and teach the value of sportsmanship, teamwork, and promote self-esteem and confidence in all players. While play is competitive, and the will to win important, our focus is on instruction and development, not championships.

Games are played on Saturday mornings at the Dow High School in Midland, starting the Saturday after Labor Day and ending in Mid-October.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with funding solely through registration fees, fundraising activities, grants, and sponsorship fees.  We are thankful for the community support and the financial support of local sponsors.  Please support our sponsors and let them know we appreciate their assistance.
